About me…

London based Sound Recordist, I completed a Filmmaking BA (Hons) at the London Film Academy in 2021.

I have now been working freelance in the film industry for the past four years, expanding my skills and work experiences in the sound department on short films and HETV. I have also grown experience in production through a few documentaries with french productions, working as fixer and assistant director.

More about my background…

Originally from Paris, France, where I have studied art during a Foundation Year at the Atelier de Sèvres right after high school, I have always been fascinated by visuals and storytelling. I grew a deep passion for filmmaking and photography more specifically, which were the two mediums I focused on developing more in my late teenage years.

My curiosity and interest for how movies were made, and more precisely for how a film set works, drew me to the exciting city of London, where I moved in 2019 to start my studies at film school. I attended the London Film Academy, where I have completed a Filmmaking BA (Hons) degree. This experience allowed me to build basic skills in different aspects of the filmmaking process, from development and pre-production to working on set in every crew role from all departments throughout several short film projects, and finally, to post-production.

I then discovered the sound department, while working as sound mixer and boom operator for the first time on a few student projects. I since then developed a passion for the creativity location sound recording provides.

After graduating in 2021, I started working freelance as sound recordist, gaining experience from various short films and documentaries. In the meantime, I have also worked as an intern in development at Bluebirds Productions for two months, as well as on a few projects as a Production Assistant, leading me to acquire a greater understanding of the filmmaking process; and on a wider perspective, of the film industry.

Among all these work experiences, I have been mostly interested in working within the sound department on set, and I have been pursuing this career path since then.

As a sound recordist, I have built experience similarly sound mixing and boom operating. Alongside building my network on independent projects, I worked as a sound trainee on a STV TV series (uk - 2022), as well as on a Netflix series re-shoot (uk - 2023), before stepping up as a 2nd assistant sound on an itv series (uk - 2023) and an abc series (uk crew - 2024).

Also deeply passionate about photography, I have created a few photography projects, which can be found in the Portfolio section.

Besides, I run the podcast chirurgie d’histoires (french speaking), where i interview my dad about his job as a plastic surgeon. We also discuss many stories and concepts he developed throughout his past 30 years experience in humanitarian work around the world with his ngo interplast-france / chirurgie sans frontières.
